How many women did Hazrat Imam Hasan the elder son of Hazrat Ali married? Somebody was telling that he married more than ninety. Is that right?

yup he married lots... Ali (Ra) said to the women dont marry my son he is too quick to divorce... but still women loved him... apparantly he was very handsome and they all wanted to be related to the prophet (Saw)...

Hafiz5050, u have 2 understand that Imam Hasan (as) has been the victim of a most malicious propaganda. Check the seerah, the first man known to accuse Imam Hasan (as) of "marrying and divorcing" was the 2nd Abbasid Khalifa, Mansur, who because of his dynastic policies was bent upon belittling Amir al-Mu'minin `Ali and his descendants.

Do you mean to say that there's no historical evidence available about Hazrat Imam Hasan prior to the Abbasid Khalifa?

I came to know about this from a Shia scholar that Hazrat Imam Hasan married more than 90 women. And it was because of his compassion of marrying beautiful women that Hazrat Ameer Muawiya set up his marriage with a woman who later on poisoned him. (Shi'a say that he was poisoned by his wife, at the urging of Muawiyah, and that his death was thus a martyrdom.).

Are u telling me that he was a womaniser? How can the the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (saw) did that?
Al-Hasan, peace be on him, is the Lord of the youth of Heaven.
He was one of the 4 persons through whom the Prophet made the contest of prayer with the Christians of Najran.
He was one of the 5 persons whom the Prophet covered with his cloak.

Al-Irhaab, u just told me how sexually obsessed he was. And this also means that women (who married Hasan) were the most Stupid and Foolish women who were seeing the behaviour of Hasan but still obsessed to marry him.
I would not allow myself to get marry today & get divorce tomorrow...& I certainly don't think the women during Imam Hasan (as) would do that either.

The real problem comes from , the sunni historians neglecting the history of the prophets Household صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم so we all have no solid evidence and facts especailly on Imam Hasan Bin Ali رضي الله عنه .

I would not allow myself to get marry today & get divorce tomorrow...& I certainly don't think the women during Imam Hasan (as) would do that either.


errr who said he got divorced the next day :scratch: the fact of the matter is he was very quick to divorce not in that he would marry sleep and then divorce but in that if the woman did something wrong he would divorce her immediately... the reason why he kept marrying is that families kept coming to give proposals to him because he was Hassan (ra)... yard what the shiahs say theyre a bunch of kaafir anyway apart from the zeid Shia... the sunnis have detailed books on ahlul bayt (ra), Imam Hassan (Ra) life ie well documented...

the lives of ahlul bayt (ra) have been well documented by the fuqaha... its just people dont choose to study it... the ulema know about their lives and talk about them often...

Unfortunately, the facts of the history tell the true story. Therefore, Shi'a scholars deliberately ignored the history about Hazrat Imam Hasan. They remember each and every word of whatever Hazrat Imam Hussain said. Even those words that he murmured in loneness are recorded in the Shi'a books. How could they don't know a large part of Hazrat Imam Hasan's life?
