i wrote this soliloquy on a bus journey home, few years ago.
i call it "prideland, writeings on the wall" possitive critisism wlc

You dont know where your going till you know where you been, (been?)

I been to hell and back, watched as we for no reason got exiled out (uh huh)

10 minutes to flee in the middle of the night,(dam) my mama crying,as she grabbed things to help us survive. (sad)

O these warlords ruined my life (speak child) yet i hope for a chance to reconcile ( is there a chance?) i dunno, but for now i keep it real in this western world.

somalia, nice land sand sun yet no government, bred in london blessed given the chance to be something.
for the mentally stable i'm clapping

Head screwed on tight like a light bulb, learn, work and go home
HOME (sweet home) somalia was 1, in my heart ripe memorys live on.

PRIDELAND my land, was once PRIDELAND

Over the rainbow and across the sea, Tagged as a refuge, pushed aside and considered weak. Bassically i feel oppressed, inwardly i confess, i'm upset.

You warlords i wanna snap your necks in 2, cynically vex on you.
i c you in my capital ( lounging in ridicule,i speak as an individual all methodical, note i dont submit, justice breathes, though still bleeds, its alive it just needs a face lift.

why do you look at me surprised? when i hold my head up high?(haters) am i killing you inside ? (no doubt)

all you do is oppress,on a endless a quest to kill our confidence, even far away in the west your msg reach's me, i hear it loud and clear NO SOMALIA NO SUCCESS, see why i stress?

The hope 4 tomorrow is withinn our youths, but tribalism they to adhere to. (dam) i'm confused. Hope to me is all, if u hear the writings on the wall is the feeling mutual ?
to simply rest my case i feel Restless, confounded and deranged, baffled i remain.

End

Many people are asking "when will the youth rise" they are the future for somalia, but the future is looking dim for us, many somali youths are following in the footsteps of their parents, it hurts but history will repeat itself if things dont change.

everyone is relying upon the other man to make the change, but how can there be change if no one is taking the first step.

Tribalism is killing us softly, i am mixed tribe, (darood and issaq HY) from both the south and north, so i take no sides. somalia needs ISLAM to take over. we need to REVIVE islam, and reform MUSLIMS.

Our similaritys out weigh our differences.
to both my brothers and sisters from south & North tell me if there is a chance for Unity.

All this because of the borders a kafir drew up. islam needs a shock to bring it back to life again.

well i can not pretend to say i feel saddend or very hurt by it, because somaalia as a nation is very alien to me. I have left that land when i was just little over 2yrs old and grew up in Europe and America.

As a muslim i can say any split amongst muslim is indeed sad and shouldnt happen. I remember before the civil unrest and tribal wars broke out south was seen as the westernized and modern part of Somaalia. The north was seen as holding back to their culture and deen and not wanting to advance into modernation.

But subhanuAllaah now the script has turned around, it is the north which is giving into the west and its retarded unislamic idealogogy.

I am against any split amongst the muslims. regardless which race they may represent.

Mashallah very good…personally I’ve never been to Somalia, but no matter how much I am disengaged from Somalia I ‘am still aware and have not adopted the behavior of some who act oblivious to the tribalism, the despotic tribal leaders, injustices, and poverty inflicted upon them although I must admit I know very little about my own history, and yes I do believe their ignorance in Islam and people choosing not to adopt its way of life is and was the problem and we desperately need people to stand up to those tyrants dictating Somalia or it will only lead them to their unnoticed death….
