Say (O Muhammad): "Shall We tell you the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds?

"Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds! Surah Al-Kahf [Ayah 103-104]

"After you leave here, you are going somewhere, I mean today/tonight. Well after you die and leave this earth, you are going somewhere, whether you accept it or not, you are going there, where you will be held responsible for your deeds. And you have been told even, but you have rejected. Because the object of this life is not for you to sit here and after this do nothing and have no effect. Every cause has an effect. And we came into this life for a cause and a purpose and it must have an effect. You don’t go to school to stay there, you don’t go to work not to get paid, you don’t build a house and not move in, you don’t make a suit and don’t wear it, you don’t grow up as a child and don’t become an adult, you don’t work without expecting a reward, you cannot live without expecting to die, you cannot die without the expectancy of the grave and you cannot expect that the grave is the end, because that would mean that God has created you for a foolish purpose. And you have not gone to school or worked or married your wife or named your children for a foolish purpose. So how can you assign to God something less than yourself."

sure.

what it means is, if Man thru pride does not like a particular thing attributed to himself, then how can he attribute it to ALLAH, who is the most high.

in relation 2 the topic in hand, the point is, every cause has an effect, the examples used were

1) we dont name our children without having a reason a purpose,
2) we dont marry without anticipating the marriage will serve many purposes etc

so if we acknowledge this, then how is it we attribute to god, doing stuff which serve no purpose

example, whats the point of life on earth if the grave is the end and after we just become scattered dust in the universe, as some people believe.

i hope u get it now, if not holla, i will come from another direction.

anything for u.
