assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

just a peice of advice... i logged in as a guest today because i was on another computer...

now i was surpised at what I had access to and what I didnt have access to...you have access to the nasheed section which is full of some really hard core jihadi stuff... which might not be good for someone who is not like really on the website a lot ie is just a guest... you have the comparative religion secion, which despite a ban has turned into a shiah versus muslim dissing match... yes I know i am involved in that, but if you guys had enforced the ban on shiah versus muslim discussion i would not post against them and I did repeatedly point out about the ban... well anyway that doesnt help the guests either...

the only one that actually gives them any benefit is the learn islam forum...

anyway maybe its just me but i thought that might need addressing

jazakallah khere...

I agree what you are saying but why ban the discussions?

because the raafidah just make up lies and then I just show them theyre lying and then they deny theyre lying then they insult sahaba then I just insult them and insult and insult them some more...

does anyone get any benefit out of it

I'm surprised that anyone actually cares what non-muslims see on ummah.com because so many Muslims swear, threaten, insult non-muslim users as well as promote killing random non-muslims and beheading them.. that it seems like noone gives a damn about what impression non-muslims get of us or our deen.

So alhamdulillah, it is nice to see bro irhaab cares.. maybe we should use that concern and allow it to reflect in our posts.

As for the forums visible, I think CR being visible is good, this shia-sunni thing is a phase, but usually CR attracts many sensible non-muslim posters who really want intelligent debate.

I don't think jihaadi nasheeds should be a problem, they are not graphic are they? Most of them are in arabic anyway.

the nasheeds are not a problem... but the poems are very graphic... and sometimes derogatory... maybe the poetry section needs to be shifted to a muslim poetry section? but i dont think mods are responding  apart from abu mubarak.. who gives his little thoughtful comment and then speeds away as usual :D

May I point out that the mods have previously REMOVED graphic poems from the poetry section and they should in fact be reported and removed.

I wouldn't call that kind of stuff poetry, it is just trash and people who think that is poetry obviously have no idea of the meaning of the word.

(That is if you are referring to the "how to behead" type of "poems" I saw some weeks ago and were swiftly removed from sight).

If you restrict some sections, any non-muslims would have an account and access it...
Do you know that few seconds ago a user who is not muslim (don't want to mention is nickname) was browsing this thread...mmm.. he already got the hint...

And BTW, I don't recommend restricting the comparative religions section. You can ban shia-sunni threads, but not the whole forum. There are hundreds of guests who browse it daily.. especially christian-muslim debates...

thanks,

no one is saying that restrict the comparative religion thread thats fine just stop the shiah versus muslim discussion..

in regards to the poems.. its different when someones a member here and not just a guest.. when theyre members they tend to ask questions and if they see something like that they can raise the topic up... a guest can only look and nothing else... he sees ok topic about say for example a poem about jihad or martyrdom or whatver and it might be like anti-westen or whatever he sees it looks jets... a member will look at it and ask is this what you muslims believe and right or wrong you can explain to him....
