well i needed to ask..i am a girl and was wondering is it alright for a woman(im speaking on behalf of my 23 yr old cousin) who's muthagiba and in a very serious relationship(leading to marriage no doubt) is it alright for him to see her hair ?? shokran

If the marriage hasn't taken place yet, it shouldn't be a serious relationship, but if a man is interested in a woman, the only things he is allowed to see is her hands and face with a wali present.

There are different stages in which the whole marriage process things goes,and one of them is the time when u can see the girl without her scarf and stuff,but with her parents present etc.

I didnt think he could ever see her hair at any stage ????? He should be glad he is allowed to see her face :rolleyes: .....Ive NEVER met any hijabis, who are now married or looking to get married, who have ever unveiled their hair...

I have met such sisters. Most hijabi sisters I know say it's permitted to show the hair in such a case. I personally wouldn't show my hair in such circumstances unless I were shown daleel.

Neither would I...forget that...I mean, what difference is showing your hair going to make anyway....I doubt very much it is going to make or break the proposal....if it will in the eyes of the brother....I say forget that brother and all...

because some letter's are not existing in the English alphabet, there is a convention to use the following
