difficulty accessing the forum

hi.. i am a new user and am finding that my user name and password are not being accepted when i try to log on, about 4 times out of every attempts are met with ..user name/pass word are invalid
why is this?
some times when i finally get on the forum it says you are not logged in, yet if i am not logged in i wouldn't be able to read the current events section
it took 6 separate tries to night, what is the problem and can this be fixed

It can take several attempts to log in,somes when i am logged in i try to post but it tells me i am not logged in,
This morning as you see i can post, with out a problem,this morning i logged in also without a problem.
You dont understand this problem ? that makes two of us,

If it helps, over the past couple of days I've had problems accessing posts that have been posted recently (since I've been logged in). I have had to regularly clear cookies and log out to give me access to a number of forums ive posted to.

Likewise, private message notices kept popping up even though I had opened the messages sent and my user CP was showing posts I had posted days ago as being posted today. That's all cleared once I log out and log back in again.

I'm not sure if it is related to Khamseems problem.. but it may help??

Khamseems problem seems to me to be one related to cookies...

Check that you are accepting cookies from ummah forum so that it does not keep logging u out everytime you click to another part of the forum...

Have just logged in for the first time without problems,may be it was a hicup!

That happens a lot with me around this time (between 11 pm and 1 am eastern standard time ie: 4 am to 6 am gmt)

yep that happens...not sure why...perhaps sajid runs some kind of diagnostic or scan of the server at this time...
But it regularly happens at those late hours of the night(GMT)...
