Struggling surviving
Dreaming still striving
Together in this war
Truly we still thriving

In the blackest of nights
In the brightest of days
In my weakest moments
In this continuous maze

You were my company
My one true friend
My greatest hope
My heart to you I send

From continent to continent
Over mounts so high
I searched for you
Though so many asked why

Struggling surviving
Dreaming still striving
Together in this war
Truly we still thriving

As I closed those tired eyes
I dreamt of your delicate touch
Why do you keep me so far
Why do you torment me so much

In your embrace is my life
In your closeness my desire
But I know I must be patient
Struggle through this quagmire

My enemies hate you
Some of my friends do to
But I love you so deeply
You are my future so true

:rotfl: well even if it HAD been about a woman i wouldn't read it like that. Whenever i read any love poem i always attribute it to Allah cuz otherwise most of them start bordering on shirk. LOL not yours of course but the ones that go on about can't live without you and everything i do is for you and all that piffle.
