Well from what I know of it, a few bros have related its organised by different brothers and sisters comprising of some from JIMAS, Al Fitra Foundation, Masjid al Tawheed, Al Muntada al Islami, Al Noor School, Lewisham and Kent Islamic Centre, Al Jummah Magazine, University of East London ISOC, etc. so in effect it isn't by one single body themself but by individuals from many coming together as one.

Anyhow look at the attachment for details.

I personally know many JIMAS bros and Al Fitra amongst many others and well they all do consider themselves as Salafis, they make this pretty clear. But, na'am I agree that some of them do warn people away from the Super-Salafi Madhkali Saudi brand this is true. (Sister your my sis. please please do NOT start a fight with me over this as I am just stating a fact.)

We would all want nothing more than to be together as one Ummah insha'allah. Whether Ikhwani, Qutubi, 'Jihadi', type etc.

Nope sis. I missed the beginning bit- was caught up in some darn meeting but did catch some of of bro Abu Imran's talk, was alright for a mostly self taught bro.

But I just gotta say Bro Abu Husnayn's (Murtaza) talk was too good mash'allah there was the true inner raw ikhlas of his coming out in the talk and you just felt something deep down that touched you thus by it and his message of hijrah, the struggles, the ultimate sacrifice, independence from relying on the kuffar,etc. He was on form masha'allah.

Masha'allah the event was excellent- me and my bros cup of Tea as there was full segregation and seperation :up: and therefore was sooooo nice and calming- you could relax and learn without being all jittery.:D Its sooo nice to hear to that a revert sister entered the fold too.

In regards to the Q and A there was this bit that me and the other bros didn't like which I rather not mention but save that it was all in all alhamdulillah a truly beneficial and worthwhile.

Ma Main Man Abu Usamah :hidban: i love him, he's so great mashaAllah.
When he speaks theres so much passion and devotion to his dawah!
He reminds me of Umar al Khattab (ra), and its amazing to think what background he came from, and just shows the wisdom of Allah, he guides who he wills.
Usamah's arabic is :up:, learnt it is saudi while he was there for 8yrs Alhumdulillah.
And he's so fun, he was playing question game with my nephew and also told him if he answer a question right he'd give him £50, shame im a sis @) hehe

M_S you should have stayed, it was v.good, and also abu imran was really funny! this guy asked a question about not being able to go to hajj but having pure intention to go is equal to half a hajj, and abu imran was like "no, cos that would mean, if twice you werent able to go, your hajj is complete" :rotfl: the way he said it was soo funny, everyone was cracking up, well the sisters were anyway :p.

Aww its over, cant wait untill 25th though, they going to invite abu usamah, Abdul Qadir (you'll love him) and :insha: many other bros at the dinner thing my sis is organising.

I do hope we get to listen to it too and that this version and also the one to be official released isn't heavily editted- whereby the content itself isn't at all missing one bit from beginning to end.

No one denies that the speakers ever contradicted the Qur'an nor the Sunnah (a deplorable thing to say nor insinuate of others)- if they did such things one wouldn't attend events where they taught to attain any ilm nor accept them with any repute.

Nay, it wasn't a question asked forth nor the content of the reply but an unneccessary side comment that was made to not do with any questions by one's own personal opinion on a matter- and before you jump to any conclusions we know of one of the speakers personally, a close brother of ours indeed and he confirmed that comment was not warrented. Indeed as stated we should take the ilm from Qur'an and Sunnah alone NOT one's personal opinions, whims nor thoughts that may confuse or devide us.

As I said before I'd rather not go into detail, this may create division especially since the matter has now been resolved and as suspected we were correct on our position upon it (it would have made no difference if we weren't at all) as this has now been resolved with the speaker concerned whom affirmed it with us. On the whole aside from this side issue that none sought the vent was fine.:up:

yeh shes the polish sisters, im trying to find her some stuff for wudhu and prayer. I have a email link to Shaykh Al-Albani's The Prophets Prayer Described (mashaAllah excellent book). Im going to give her that, and if she doesnt have net, then :insha: gonna buy it for her. (i need my copy :D)
Astugfirullah some idiot gave her a video on How to Pray to the Prophet :S. She showed it to Abu Usamah cos she thought there was something quite not right about it, SubhanaAllah, her fitrah just knew, Abu Usamah was like :eek3: err where'd ya get this?
