Al-Ghazali the alchemist of happiness
A Film by Ovidio Salazar
Exploring the life and impact of the greatest spiritual and legal philosopher in Islamic history, this film examines Ghazali’s existential crisis of faith and how after years in the wilderness he embarked on the path of love and spiritual excellence, overcoming the pitfalls of the organized religion of his day.
This film reveals profound parallels with our own times and the path many are taking to overcome the pitfalls of today’s ritual following of religion.
The film will be followed by a 40 minute question and answer session by Ovidio Salzar
