I live by it, I swear by it... in the Computing World.

But the dilemma is when XP was born. eXPerience they say, more like eXasPeration, especially the Licence issue. For God Sake someone do something, advice Mr Gates, this not about Money it is about Honour and Merit.

Loyalty is not force upon it is earn, hence your (Microsoft's) success with Windows 9x, and Windows NT family. The Company giving what the Users want without restriction will earn the Cash and Royalty soughted.

The bottom line is that Linux and others are gaining from such rigidity.

I might be totally wrong.

Don't say I didn't warn Microsoft. More on Veritas Storage (http://www.vnunet.com/News/1134047)

Serious minds, I will say.

i think microcrap ... i mean microsoft ~ahem~ needs some serious competition to raise the standard of their OS's & programs... linux is an excellent OS (last time i heard hotmail was running linux servers) and much much more stable the windows. i hope that linux does superceed windows!

Don't be clueless. Let me come again.

I cannot but agree with seven that Linux is better than Windows (any). We're (our company MicroAccess) using Linux (Red Hat) as our server OS, while for the workstation Windows NT 2000.

Comprehend :)

Finally I hope Microsoft has seen the light.

Microsoft will take its message to the open-source masses at
next week's LinuxWorld gathering. How will it play with
penguinistas?

Man, XP is full of restrictions and your privacy known to the world. What is the way out?

2002 the Year of Linux, I believe 2003 too. 2003 the dethroning of Microsoft.
