Let’s put the idea out there and get a poll from our users on it.

Jones: Returning to one of your points

I don't approve of anyone killing anyone else, really. You know I have always said I wish there were a true Palestinian state, and I have posted on another thread here somewhere that I believe the blame should be laid at the door of the United Nations, since they are the ones who created the state of Israel. At the time they did that, their DUTY should have been to make a Palestinian state and they failed to do so, just grabbed whatever land and made Israel and forgot about Palestinians. If I were boss,I would divide the area in half exactly and give the south to Palestine and the North to Israel and say End O' Story. As for Jerusalem, that poor city, I'd make it like Vatican City, a separate state where everyone is just a guest.

I have often had a similar thought in regards to the city of Jerusalem. In as much it is the seat of sacred ground common to the three Abrahamic Faiths, that it ought to be established as an international territory like the site of the United Nations grounds in the United States.

I doubt if the ruling atheistic zionists would go for it, let alone dividing the land 50/50, 60/40, 70/30, or any other proportion.

Maybe as a temporary part of the final answer but not perminant. UN would run the government, police, city services forever? What does the UN do in the case of terrorism in the city, go into sovern Israel or Palestine?

Yes, perhapse as a temporary measure, it could work. It is a catch 22 situation. Israel needs to allow a Palistinian State to come into existence, and all hostilities need to cease unconditionally, unilaterally. Which comes first: the chicken or the egg. The obvious answer is the unilateral cease fire... but there is no Real Vision beyond the cease fire. The goal is too nebulous and uncertain of success. So why stop hostililities? All parties have to come to the "drawing board" with a concrete solution that is mutually agreeable, but if the concerned parties are not communicating with each other, they will never even get close. Third party intervention doesn't seem to be putting a dent in the solution to the problem

Ideally, there should be no "ownership" of Land. It is a concept that belongs to the Warlord Mentality that has existed for centuries. The three Abahamic Faiths ought to be able to agree upon an international "Truce" that could work in the sharing of Jerusalems internal structure. But that would preclude that Israel would be content with the settlement of its portion of land and the Palistinians content with their portion of land. There would then be no need for further hostilities from either side.

The thorn in the side of such a solution is the racist group that exist outside the Arahamic Faiths, which is controling Israli goverment policies.

There needs to be a positive force to end the terrorist response to false sincerity and lack of commitment in the region.

May Allahu ta'ala guide us to a workable solution.
