Freedom!" you cry
.
But what is this "Freedom"?
And what "freedom" do you mean?
Freedom to live in peace and harmony?
Freedom to give everybody justice?
Freedom to help the weak and feed the poor?
Freedom to practise one's religion?
No.
You don't mean this freedom.
You don't want this freedom.
You don't believe in this freedom.
You never believed in this freedom.
I know what "Freedom" you want.
You want "freedom" to kill and plunder.
"Freedom" to pillage and burn.
"Freedom" to abuse and humiliate.
"Freedom" to imprison and torture.
"Freedom" to lie and mislead.
"Freedom" to spread terror and injustice.
But is this really "Freedom"?
Freedom is to live for your beliefs and principles.
Freedom is to live with honour and dignity.
Freedom is to live without a guilty conscience.
Freedom is to sleep without blood on your hands.
This is freedom.
So how can you say that you want freedom?
When you have never tasted freedom
When you have never believed in feedom
When you have never understood freedom
When you have never worked for freedom
Freedom is to live in peace
To sleep in peace
And to die in peace.
This is freedom.
