3. (a) The present tense verbal nagator is "Maa", and it does not have any effect on the verb its negating.

(b) The present tense equational sentence is negated by "laisa", and the predicate of the equational sentence becomes accussative case.

(c) The past tense verbal sentence is nagated by "maa' and "lam". They equally have no any effect on the verb.

(d) The future tense is negated by "lan".

the sentence was given in present tense so to be strictly accurate u should say "laa yajlisu.."
ما ذهبت الى السوق
لم يكن حاذقا
لست تجدها
use lan here not laysa : lan tajidahaa
ليس مسرورا
use lan here not laysa, also you need the verb kaana : lan yakoona masrooran

(c) The past tense verbal sentence is nagated by "maa' and "lam". They equally have no any effect on the verb. - no, lam makes the verb become jussive

(d) The future tense is negated by "lan". which makes the verb subjunctive

Yes, I went through the textbook section but couldn't find the other lessons. I only saw lessons 22 and 23. My fault was that I refused to search. . .could have gotton them.

Anyway, I prefer starting from the begining, as I did. Let me know why I couldn't find the other lessons pls, so that I can pick up from where I started last week.

For the past six months or so, I have been conspicously absent. I intend to "return" to the class this time around, insha'Allah.
