Dear Sister BinMasoud, Ibnteymiye was a great Muhadith and and an exellent Scholar BUT his Aqiidah was Corrupt! Indeed It ws Ibn Taymiyah who would Become the "Imam Of The Wahabis" If You may Call It That! IbnTeymiyah was in prisoned For Propogating his Corrupt Aqiidah By The Scholars of Ehle Sunnet Wal Jamah! Heare are some of his deviations Of His Corrupt Aqidah!

One of the Great Mistakes of Ibn Teymiyeh Was Saying Allah is Siiting on his 'arsh( Azubillah) Allah Can Not Sit and He is Unique! Allah do Not Look Like his Creations!

Ibn Taymiyah's saying of Allah sitting is confirmed about him, although some of his followers negated this when they found it ugly. He mentioned this in his book "Minhaj-us-Sunnat-in-Nabawiyyah" by sayings: The majority of Ahl-us-Sunnah wal-Jama^ah say that Allah, tabaraka wa ta^ala, [Tabaraka wa ta^ala attributes the giving and perfection to Allah.] descends and al-^Arsh does not get void of Him. He claimed that this was reported about Ishaq Ibn Rahawayh, Hammad Ibn Zayd, Imam Ahmad, and others. He is a fabricator and great lier about that.

In his Tafsir named "an-Nahr", the Grammarian Abu Hayyan al-'Andalusiyy reported about Ibn Taymiyah having this belief. He said: In his handwriting, a book of Ahmad Ibn Taymiyah, who was contemporary with us, which he called "Kitab-ul-^Arsh", I read: Allah sits on al-Kursiyy and has left a space for the Messenger of Allah to sit with Him. At-Taj Muhammad Ibn ^Aliyy Ibn ^Abd-il-Haqq al-Baranbariyy pretended that he is a promoter of his ideas and tricked him, until he took it from him; we read that in it. [The author of "Kashf-uz-Zunun" reported that about him also in Volume 2, page 1438.]

This reporting of Abu Hayyan was omitted from the old printed copy. However, the manuscript confirms it. In his commentary on "as-Sayf-us-Saqil", page 85, az-Zahid al-Kawthariyy said explaining the reason of omitting these statements of Ibn Taymiyah: The editor of as-Sa^adah Printing House told me that he found it very ugly and he omitted it upon printing so that the enemies of al-'Islam would not use it. Then he requested that I record that here to catch up what he missed and out of sincerity to the Muslims.

In "al-Muwafaqah", page 29, Ibn Taymiyah said: Allah, ta^ala, has a hadd no one but Him knows it. One should not imagine that hadd for a purpose in himself, but believe it and leave knowing about it to Allah. His place has a hadd, which is on His ^Arsh above His skies. These are two limits.

In the twenty-fifth volume of "al-Kawakib-ud-Darariyy", which is in the Library of az-Zahiriyyah in Damascus, Ibn Taymiyah said: If Allah willed he would sit on a mosqito, which would carry Him by His power; how about on a large ^Arsh!

Shaikh Muqbil discusses conditions for living among the disbelievers

Question: What are the conditions for living among those who associate partners with Allaah (Mushrikoon)?

Answer: Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic says in His Noble Book, "Verily those whom the Angels take them (at death) while they were wronging themselves, they (the Angels) say, ‘What situation where you all in?’ They (those people) say, ‘We were weakened and oppressed in the land.’ They (the Angels) say, ‘Wasn’t Allaah’s earth spacious so that you could migrate in it?’ So those people, their abode is Hell and an evil destination. Except the weak oppressed ones from the men, women and children who were not able to devise a plan, nor are they able to direct their way." [An-Nisaa’ (4):98]

So if the person is able to establish his religion (the Deen of Islaam) in that place and he can protect his children and his family, then there is no harm in that. However, I think that he will not be able to protect his children, because he must take them to the schools of the Christians. And if the child runs away from his father, the government will take him in and his father will have no authority over him, and the same applies to the woman (i.e. his wife). Therefore I think that it is not permissible to live in these lands (i.e. the lands of the disbelievers in the West) except for dire necessity, or for a person who goes there inviting to Allaah, glorified is He and Exalted is He (i.e. working in Da’wah). And (along with this) he can protect himself from the Fitnah (trials, evil temptations), and the Fitnah of the women, and the Fitnah of the Dunyaa (worldly things). For indeed someone who went to Belgium informed me when he returned, and he is someone who people benefited from (i.e. in reference to his knowledge of Islaam). I said to him, "Why didn’t you stay with them (i.e. the Muslims in Belgium) so that they could benefit from you?" He said, "Fitnah (trials, evil temptations)." So I said, "Take your family (i.e. your wife) with you." He said, "It is not only the Fitnah of the women, rather the Fitnah of the Dunyaa (worldly things) and many other Fitnahs as well." So if the person fears for himself due to the Fitnah, then it is obligatory upon him to flee with his religion (i.e. to the Muslim lands)."

Salaam

Slaih my aqeedah too is in line with Ashariyaa and maturidi summed up in aqeedah at-tahawiyah (which is approixmatly 90% of all the greatest scholars) and i also agree that from what the scholars have said the aqeidah of ibn Taymiyaah was corrupt and deviated in certain issues from the Ahle sunnah.

I agree with the pure and clear sufism as this is only the practice of tsawuff.

However there are many sayings and eviences that Nazim Quburusi is out of the fold of islam and the site that you have given by Hisham KAbbani is he not the American depty of quburusi? If so then why refer to him when he has gone further astray probably then ibn taymiyah by following the teachings of nazim quburusi?

if you do not know about the deviant teachings of nazim quburusi I can get you many many quotes etc inshalla even though they claim to be sufi's Ashariy etc but i need you to confirm for me if hisham kabbani is a folower of nazi quburusi.

Wa salaam
