It's by Sameer al Bashiri (http://www.albashiri.net) and it sounds like Saudi Arabian slang. Correct me if I'm wrong :)

Just to lift this misconception, it is not a song, its a nasheed, sang by Sameer Al Bashiri, and the language/dialect is Yemeni. They always say the Qaf as Ghaf....
Please correct me if i'm wrong, and no its most certainly not arabic slang.

Assalamu 'Alaykum
No bro, i don't know much, i am just a person who is a bit enquisitive.
Yes he is the same person who sings 'Ya Moatamm''.
Here's one that is really good, but there is a lot of talking at first, and then the actual nasheed comes, inshaAllah check it out, its worth a listen:
http://free.hostultra.com/~islamglobe/FlashNasheeds/Arabic_HayeeAlShabaab.swf
(if it doesnt come, just go to www.hostultra.com/~islamglobe/Nasheeds.htm (http://www.hostultra.com/~islamglobe/Nasheeds.htm) and then go to the near-end page and you will find a nasheed called ''Hayee Al Shabaab''
I might be adding some more of his nasheeds after Ramadan on my site inshaAllah Ta'la.

I listened to it and really like it.. but please what is a Nasheed and does anyone have the lyrics for this one? I'm wanting to use some Arabic music for my dinner on the weekend and wonder about using this one, but is there anyone who can tell me a little of what he is saying?
Thanks
