in the Independent on sat there was an article

where it was questioned about Rape in Islam ... more specifically

The journalist evaluated cheerie Blairs recent comments about woman in islam

the writer suggested various Western misconceptions of islam

where does does this statement come from ...

"..........Removing your shame by marrying your rapist ,whose crime is then wiped out ...

i guess the media try to be diplomatic by suggesting what people in the public eye mean
but there suggestions act as statments in the 9 to 5 state of mind peoples eyes

where in the world is this practiced ??
and where the Hell and how was this notion conjured ???
and why do ingnorent people think this is true ??/

i have read that in a madh'hab as a recourse to rape and zinaa before marriage

but as with many madh'hab issues, i never found any daleel behind it

(no i am not saying the scholars didnt use quran and sunnah, but some of the deduced opinions do not appear to have daleel behind them)

not rape but perhaps Zinna which is relationship outside wedlock with mutual consent as oppose to forcefully. In the case it was with mutual consent, under the shariah they would be punished and perhaps according to some opinions encouraged to marry each other. But I doubt any islamic juristic school would encourage a woman to marry her rapist.

yeah bt wdnt the rapist be getting executed... so how would u marry him?
unless u chose 2 forgive him and get married...
but I doubt many people would chose that
how can he b a suitable husband if he is a criminal like that??
