A display of specialized skill does not signify possession of spiritual capacity.
Cleverness is not a substitute for true character.

Few persons live up to the faith which they really have.
Unreasoned fear is a master intellectual fraud practiced upon the evolving mortal soul.

Inherent capacities cannot be exceeded; a pint can never hold a quart.

The majority of impoverished souls are truly rich, but they refuse to believe it.

Difficulties may challenge mediocrity and defeat the fearful,
but they only stimulate the true children of the Most High.

To enjoy privilege without abuse, to have liberty without license,
to possess power and steadfastly refuse to use it for self-aggrandizement--these are the marks of high civilization.

Effort does not always produce joy, but there is no happiness without intelligent effort.

Righteousness strikes the harmony chords of truth,
and the melody vibrates throughout the cosmos, even to the recognition of the Infinite.

The weak indulge in resolutions, but the strong act.
Life is but a day's work--do it well. The act is ours; the consequences God's.

The greatest affliction of the cosmos is never to have been afflicted.
Mortals only learn wisdom by experiencing tribulation.

Whet the appetites of your associates for truth; give advice only when it is asked for.

affectation (http://www.merriam-webster.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?va=affectation) is the ridiculous effort of the ignorant to appear wise,
the attempt of the barren soul to appear rich.

Ambition is dangerous until it is fully socialized.
You have not truly acquired any virtue until your acts make you worthy of it.

Impatience is a spirit poison; anger is like a stone hurled into a hornet's nest.

Anxiety must be abandoned. The disappointments hardest to bear are those which never come.

The evolving soul is not made divine by what it does, but by what it strives to do.

Greatness lies not so much in possessing strength as in making a wise and divine use of such strength.

Knowledge is possessed only by sharing; it is safeguarded by wisdom and socialized by love.

Progress demands development of individuality; mediocrity seeks perpetuation in standardization.

The argumentative defense of any proposition is inversely proportional to the truth contained.

Hopeful Pessimist~~

I input separately the two words you use above "Hopeful & Pessimist"
into my search engine @ http://www.urantia.org (http://www.urantia.org/)
and the results, I found interesting, perhaps you may also ?

Hopeful
line 93 (http://www.urantia.org/cgi-bin/webglimpse/mfs/usr/local/www/data/papers?link=http://mercy.urantia.org/papers/paper127.html&file=/usr/local/www/data/papers/paper127.html&line=93#mfs):
And this hopeful courage contributed mightily to the development of strong and noble characters, in spite of the depressiveness of their poverty.

Pessimist
line 181 (http://www.urantia.org/cgi-bin/webglimpse/mfs/usr/local/www/data/papers?link=http://mercy.urantia.org/papers/paper195.html&file=/usr/local/www/data/papers/paper195.html&line=181#mfs):
The very pessimism of the most pessimistic materialist is, in and of itself, sufficient proof that the universe of the pessimist is not wholly material.

Wow... those two definitions say a lot...

Stan, you're back even after all that hassle, you still return. One thing that peevs me off is your treatment of sis CW, you slandered her and you still haven't backed it up as to why, you've got no proof and it's just post after post of you, you, you.

Yes we understand you had a terrible marriage and we still hope Allah guides you to the truth, but you have to back your claims up otherwise you'll be banned again.

TEXT - REPORT A BAD POST

OFF-TOPIC POST having nothing to do with the thread.
As with most things, this indication of slander is merely rumor and was dealt with when it reared it's ugly head.
I believe the majority of Muslims make the claim that I can not back up my claims due to the subject matter has been removed behind closed Islamic doors & actually occurred behind those closed doors,
of which I am not suppose to be privy.
Well surprise folks, you have no idea who I am nor the power I hold.
CW & I havn't any bad words since my return & simply avoid each other as a precautionary measure.
This should suffice for the time being and I believe IG should remain out of this discussion since
she is a third party instigator (http://www.merriam-webster.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?va=instigator).

And to be honest here i'm not gonna cause trouble because if you think i have some grudge against you, i don't, my time is better spent feeding pigeons or soemthing. I only want you to explain VIA PM or helpdesk to the mods/or people you slandered what you meant and bring your proof.

People slandering w.o backup sucks.

how is the condition of your heart stan?...you had a heart problem few months ago..right?

Hello, thank you for asking my friend.
Today the problem with my heart is under control and getting no worse.
However, I recently underwent an operation on my spinal cord to repair some nerve damage.
I have 6 - 8 weeks of recovery until I will know the results of that procedure.
But my spirits are high as always and I look forward to the day when my body will allow me to begin my life's task.

Until then, I suppose as long as the Admin's will put up with my perpetual questions,
I'll keep logging in here at Ummah.com once every so often in the hopes of chatting with fine folks such as yourself.

A son and his father were walking on the mountains. Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" curious, he yells: "Who are you?" He receives the answer: "Who are you?" Angered at the response, he screams: "Coward!" He receives the answer: "Coward!" He looks to his father and asks: "What's going on?"

The father smiles and says: "My son, pay attention." And then he screams to the mountain: "I admire you!" The voice answers: "I admire you!" Again the man screams: "You are a champion!" The voice answers: "You are a champion!"

The boy is surprised, but does not understand. Then the father explains: "People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE. It gives you back everything you say or do. Our life is simply a reflection of our actions. If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart. If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence. This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life; Life will give you back everything you have given to it."

YOUR LIFE IS NOT A COINCIDENCE. IT'S A REFLECTION OF YOU!
