its better to say:
يحب علي أن يقضي اوقات فراغه في ممارسة كرة السلة
تكره ايمان الرسم ولكن يحب اخيها
for the last part... its better to say:
ولكنّ أخاها يحبّه

very good paragraph :)
The stuff I put in pink im jst gna make some suggestions...
1) its better 2 lose the al from al madeenat as sagheera... cos it is more like "A small town" than "THE small town"
2) if you put "an" between these words its better, like you did with "uhebbu an aqDiya"
3) I think its typo or spelling but should say mumaarisa
