I already go to an arabic class in the masjid and i have an arabic book published by the Islamic university in Madeenah for English speaking ppl. I knew most of the rules like indefinite articles, tanween, prepositions etc. The things that were new to me were the vocabs, i knew some but some were new too.

The past tense lesson ws completely new but the rest of the lesson i had already done in my other Arabic book.

My understanding of the Arabic language was helped by reading the translation of the Quran and now that i am exapanding on it, the Quranic words are becoming familiar.

Yeah thats about it and also the fact that my mother-tongue language Somaali is a lil bit similar to the Arabic language especially the complete alphabet.

Yeah thats all.:D
