bro it's spelt
شكراً
anyway....
About Baab and Baab(un)...
This depends whether you are writing something with all the harakat on it or not. If you have been told (eg in an exam) to include everything then grammatically you may need to write Baab(un), but if you are not vocalising it then it is ok to leave it. It's not ok to put a sukoon on it tho, to get jst the sound of "baab"

Do you get what I mean? :S

jazakallhu khayr, how about when you are speaking, is it ok to say bab or babun?

you should say baab... when you're speaking I wouldn't advise that you ever speak with case endings because it will sound strange
