Translation :
(very bad translation!)
the memories of fightings and martyrdom set my heart on fire
and a desire for the homes of eternity (Jannah)

and the voices of the lions of Allah in the battles
make me desire for Jihad obvious to everyone

my soul is so yearning for Jihad
and my soul regret all its sins

and for Islam i let go luxury
to buy Paradise with it

i don't ask for luxurious life
nor i am asking for a pleasent company in this life

but i ask for the life of fighting
where the truth prevail

until i'm martyred with honor
and the maids of Paradise will heal my wounds

O Allah i gave you my soul for Paradise
so let my blood be shed in Jihad

i have many sins
and my only chance to be puriifed is maartyrdom

O' Allah i am praying for martyrdom
so with you grace Allah let it be

Nah bro, I don't think Norton would hinder your upload speed. Its probably just the slow connection. Upload speeds are often...argh, can't remember the figures now :embar:

I don't wanna download them now though. I've backed up everything onto CD, and want to install a different Linux distro...don't want to have to reburn everything, or redownload everything...

We will venture to battle with them

And we will march in congregations toward their bases

And we shall return the stolen rights

And with full strength shall topple them



With the relentless weapon of truth

We shall liberate the land of the free

We shall return purity to Al-Quds once again

After humiliation and disgrace

Thunderously we shall infiltrate their hiding shelters

With boisterous stance that distresses them

We shall erase dishonor with our hands

And with full strength shall penalize them



We will not yield to accept an occupied fraction (of land)

We will not leave a hand-span to oppression

For the land will revolt to scorch them

As within the land are raging volcanoes

ولكنْ كيَ أَذُودَ على حِمَايَا

شربْنَا الذلَّ منْ سوطِ الأعادي وسرْنا كالقطيعِ بكلِّ وادي

رضينا أنْ نكونَ لهم ذيولاً ونَلْبَسَ ذِلّةً ثوبَ الحدادِ

نقبِّلُ كفَّ خنـزيرٍ لعينٍ ونَصفَعُ كفَّ طاهِرَةٍ تُنادِي

فتبَّاً للحياةِ إذا أُهِنَّا وأهلاً بالمنونِ على الجهادِ


فهذِي رُوحِيَ الحَرَّى فِدَاءً لكلِّ جَريحةٍ دوَّى نِدَاهَا

لكلِّ عفيفةٍ في الأرضِ تَشْكُو جَحِيمَ الهتكِ تَلعقُ منْ أساها

لكلِّ يَتِيمَةٍ تدعُو أباهَا وبينَ دِمَائِه تَاهَتْ خُطاها

تَنُوحُ على بقَايا مِنْ رُفاتٍ فهذا رأسُ أُمِّي ذي يدَاهَا


فإنِّي ذُبْتُ مِنْ فَرطِ اشتِيَاقِي إلى الجبهاتِ للخيلِ العِتَاقِ

إلى عَزْفِ الرَّصَاصِ يَحِنُّ قَلبِي ويَطرَبُ حينَ يُدْعى للتَّلاقي

فإمَّا النَّصرُ يَعْصِفُ بالأعادِي ويَسْقِيهِم أَسىً مرَّ المذاقِ

وإِمَّا الموتُ يمضِي بي لعَدْنٍ أُزَفُّ بها إلى الحُورِ السَّواقِي


ففجرُ النَّصرِ لاحَ له شروقٌ يُبدِّدُ ظلمةَ الليلِ السّجينِ

ويبعثُ في حَنَايَا القلبِ عِزَّاً وإِنْ أزرى بِنَا ذُلُّ السنينِ

وإِنْ وقفَ الطغاةُ أمامَ دربي وإِنْ كادُوا بكيدِهِمُ المَهِينِ

فلَمْ تَهدأْ رياحِي عاصِفاتٍ ونصرُ اللهِ في الهيجا يقيني

لا تحزنوا يا إخوتي إني شهيد المحنة

يا فرحتي بمنيتي اليوم أنهي غربتي

وكرامتي بشهادتي هى فرحتي و مسرتي

في ظل عرش الهنا أبغي لقاء أحبتي

معهم أعيش مكرما و مفعما بسعادتي

ولئن صرعت فذا دمي يوم القيامة آيتي

الريح منه عاطر و اللون لون الوردة

و كرامتي يا إخوتي برصاصة أو طعنة

ذكر الأحبة سلوتي في خلوتي و الجلوة

تقوى الإله وذلتي عند الصلاة طريقتي

والقلب دوما شاكر أو صابر في شدة

وسلامتي في وقفتي يوم الوغى بشجاعة

“The Maidens of Paradise call out, out of joy of marrying a Shahīd,
And the Maidens refuse to marry the inactive,
And Gardens of Eden that no one attains their vastness,
Except a Shahīd whose praiseworthy venture was appealing…”

Shaykh ‘Abdullāh ibn Muhammad Ar-Rashūd, may Allāh have mercy upon him

Lā Tahzanū Yā Ikhwatī
Despair not, O my Brothers,
I am a Shahīd (witness, martyr) being tested,
Our lives have an appointed time,
But our meeting is in the Gardens,

Oh! What Joy I have with this death of mine!
Today I end my Ghurbah (the state of being a Stranger; separation from Home)!
So we meet our King, and Muhammad, and the Companions,

And my tranquility when I stand in the midst,
On the Day of Uproar, is with my courage,
To give victory to my Faith, and when my blood is spilling,
Is a glad tiding of the approaching of a Shahādah,

Remembering my Beloved Companions is my consolation,
When I am secluded, and I remember I will soon unveil my Brides (the Maidens of the Gardens),
The heart is always thankful, and patient in adversity,

And if I am struck down, then here is my blood,
On the Day of Resurrection it is my Āyah (proof),
The smell from it is fragrant,
The colour is the colour of the Rose,

Here is the blood of the stab,
It is my sweet basil, it is my happiness,
Oh what Joy for me! How delightful is this!

Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens) recently recorded a song entitled "The Little Ones," his first new composition in nearly 20 years. The song was written about the children killed during the war in Bosnia. However in the wake of the tragedy in Jonesboro, Arkansas it suddenly has a broader meaning. Recently Yusuf was a guest on the Terry Wogan morning music show on BBC Radio where he commented on the senseless shooting in Jonesboro. Those comments, along with Real Audio of the song, lyrics, links, and photos are included below. It is my hope that this page can serve as a memorial to the little ones in Arkansas. As far as I know the translation that was going around for it [the one that was on tibs] was correct..

Yes akhi, thats the one I was talking about. :)

But like you did with Qom, it had the number of times it was recited under each verse etc...I'd like something I could follow through, so that I can understand the song better, and so I can learn a bit of Arabic :D

There must be more words to the song then that. I know there's a part where he repeats "fahoyu lullah hikadin qalakak subhalill izza" :S What does that mean?

فأما إذ أبيتم غيرَ جهــــــــــــــلٍ * * * فنحن لها ولكنْ عاقلـــــــــــــــينا

ونحن لها بعزم ٍ واقـــــــــــــتدار* * * وإصرار ٍفكونوا جاهزيـــــــــــــنا

فكونوا جاهزين لكربِ يــــــــوم ٍ* * * به نجتاحكم مُستأصلينــــــــــــــــا

ليعلمَ كلُّ جبار ٍ عنـــــــــــــــــــيد * * * بأنَّ عنادنا أوفى متونــــــــــــــــا

وأن جهادنا في الله مــــــــــــاض * * * إلى يوم القيامة ظاهرينـــــــــــا

وليس يصُّدنا خذلانُ غِـــــــــــــــرٍّ * * * ولا إرجافُ مَنْ يهوى الركـــونا

ولا فكر الحوالي الغث ، كـــــــلا * * * ولا أنصاره المستسلميــــــــــــنا

سنرمي دولة الطاغوت رميـــــــا * * * يُخَيـِّبُ مِنْ مُرَجِّيها الظنونــــــــا

وينسفُ من عروش الكفر عرشا * * * سَلوليا ً نـُحوسيا خَـؤونـــــــــــا

وكنا قد قصدنا الروس قبـــــــــلا ً * * * وكانوا قوة ً متمكنينــــــــــــــــا

فكـِدْناهم بحول الله كـــــــــــــــــيدا* * * فصاروا قلة ً متهالكيـــــــــــــنا

وأبقى الله منهم شرذمــــــــــــــات * * * وفي الشيشان ردعُ البائسـينا

وثـَنـَّينا بأمريكا فقمنــــــــــــــــــــا * * * لها بالعزم لا نخشى المنونــــا

لنا من جندها في كلِّ يـــــــــــــــوم ٍ* * * مصارعُ مثل ما للغابريـــــــنا

ومرّغنا كرامتها مــــــــــــــــــراراً * * * وبالمرصاد نـُصليها الطـعونا

ففي {الصومال} لما عاندتــــــــــنا * * * طردناها وكنا الظافريــــــــــنا

وفي {الخبر} اتخذناها مجــــــــالا * * * لتجربةٍ تـُعلـِّم ناشئيـــــــــــــــنا

وفي {كول ٍ} جعلنا البحر نـــــــارا * * * وفي{ تنزانيا} و{بأرض كينا}

وفي {منهاتن} دسنا عُلاهـــــــــــا * * * ودكـّينا المعاقل والحصــــــونا

وفي {الأفغان} سـُمْناها المآســـي * * * وأحكمنا {العراق} لها كمينـا

وفي{شرق الرياض} وفي {العليا} * * * أذقناها العذاب مكررينــــــــا

وما زلنا نقارعها سجــــــــــــــــالا * * * نعالج حَيـْنها حِـينا ً فحيـــــــنا

وفي الأقصى لنا يومٌ قريـــــــــــــبٌ * * * بنصر الله حقاً واثقيــــــــــــنا
