Here are a few "rules" to keep in mind. I am not a strict and "mean" teacher, but these will help make life easier for everyone involved insha allah.
Each user must make a new thread for each lesson that they work on.
Each new thread must include the lesson number and your username.
Please do not talk off topic in the Exercise Book.
Any questions you have about the lesson should all be posted inside your one thread. Do not create new threads for this purpose.
It is very useful if you can do all your exercises in the Arabic alphabet, however we understand that not everyone's computer is capable of doing that, or you might find it very slow or difficult to type in Arabic. So there are a few options available to you :
If you are able to type the exercises in Arabic alphabet then great - go ahead :) (although it is also very important to practise writing Arabic by hand if you are a beginner)
If you have a scanner, work on paper writing in Arabic letters then scan and attach it to your post. Although you might think of this as such a hassle, if you do have a scanner it will really not take all that long to do.
If you do not have a scanner but you would still like your work checked, then it is ok if you post your answers in transliteration (ie spelling out the arabic in english letters) however, I would really recommend in that case that you do also write it out in Arabic letters by yourself as the Arabic language is supposed to be written in Arabic letters not English.
For beginners especially it is particularly vital that you do start off by learning Arabic through the Arabic alphabet not via transliteration, so for your own benefit please do take the extra effort to work in Arabic not in transliteration where possible.
