In the response to the disgraceful acts of US military personals running Guantanamo Bay who desecrated the Holy Qur’an in order to humiliate, intimidate and offend the hundreds of inmates who continue to linger in legal and humanitarian limbo. The Muslims all over the world are outraged at these acts and registering their protest in their own ways. However to have a global impact and as a one voice of Muslim Ummah Friday, 27th of May has been declared as the day of global protest.

Therefore, you are kindly requested to participate in this global protest and advise your branches, circles, mosques and community centers to register their protest in following manner:

Join the protest outside US Embassy on Friday 27th of May 2005

I knew about it yesterday but details were a bit sketchy... but apparently it's all moving along nicely by word of mouth... Got a phone call at midnight... There's also a thread (http://www.ummah.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57401) about a demo at midday outside westminster uni...

Hmmmm.... Less turnout than the last demo at the embassy... Seemed to be MAB banners everywhere which suggests they were tryna prove a point... Was hot though... Adnan Siddidui and Daud Abdullah were there...
