Further Information on UA 108/05 (EUR 45/012/2005, 04 May 2005) - Health concern
UNITED KINGDOM Mahmoud Abu Rideh (m), aged 34, Palestinian refugee
Mahmoud Abu Rideh was moved to hospital on 6 May, and is now receiving
treatment as an inpatient. The UK authorities agreed to relax the control order
to which he has been subject since March 2005 under the Prevention of Terrorism
Act 2005, so that he could return to hospital. He was released on bail so that
he could be hospitalised. His lawyer has asked us to pass on his thanks to the
Urgent Action network.
No further action is requested from the Urgent Action network. Many thanks to
