UK Islamic Events for Friday 29th April 2005
Assalámu'alaikum wa Rahmatulláhi wa Barakátuhu.
The purpose of this noticeboard is to advertise Islamic events taking place within the UK. These include lectures, regular circles, classes and sports activities, as well as one-off seminars, conferences and exhibitions. We also put up notices for accomodation, jobs, items for sale, Islamic projects, schools, counselling services, etc. Many of you will already be familiar with the noticeboard, having received weekly e-mails over the last year. We are open to all Muslims and you are welcome to advertise any event as long as it is Islamic in nature and does not harm the interests of others. We look forward to your participation.

Various organisations have come together to plan the largest
Muslim Anti Terror Civil Rights March on a non-partisan, Muslim
unity platform. With the elections looming, it is essential that
the Muslim community sends a clear message against the 'climate
of fear' which has been created in a community that has made a
significant contribution to this society. It's time we stood
together as a community, to be strong and confident, and united
for the sake of Allah ..

TIME TO READ AND REFLECT ON THE SEERAH
With all the attention being given to the upcoming elections and
the multitude of Mawlid gatherings being organised throughout the
country, it is important not to forget that we should be actually
reading the biography of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh),
reflecting on the lessons that can be learned from his illustrious
life, and implementing them right now in order to address the vital
issues of our community in a practical and coherent way.
