EX-BNP MEMBER SPEAKS ABOUT TURNING TO Islam

Date: Tuesday3 rd May2005
Time:6 . 00pm
Venue: Lecture Theatre C, Science Lecture Rooms, Crown Street,
University of Liverpool, Liverpool, L7 69ZD

Guest Speakers include: John Ord (ex-BNP member), Abdul Raheem
(British Caribbean Medical Scientist), and Erica Timoney (New
Muslim Project Coordinator, Islamic Foundation)

No party in the UK has attacked Islam and Muslims more openly than
the British National Party (BNP). Opposition to Islam has come to
the fore as the major ideological gel for racism in Britain and the
BNP have managed to hide its outlawed racial hatred behind an attack
of religious hatred helping the party to increase its support since
the events of9 /11. Party leader Nick Griffin has commented that
Islam is a "vicious wicked faith" which "has expanded through a
handful of cranky lunatics". Certain BNP activists have also
admitted to committing racially motivated crimes.

However despite the BNP's exclusive fascist campaign against Islam,
one of its own member's spat in the face of the party's nationalist
ideology and turned to its greatest enemy by becoming a Muslim. This
was John Ord. In a personal account find out why John Ord, a former
racist and nationalist, embraced one of the most multicultural and
anti-nationalist ways of life in the world.

Asalamulaikum.

I went to this lastnight. i arrived late because i work outside liverpool. i arrived just in time for ex bnp bro Muhammad Islam. i was good to hear a reverts journey. it was funny to hear him say before he knew islam, to him there were two kinds of muslim, good ones and bad ones. good ones were dead bad ones were alive. his story about one reversion was truly emotional. i'l recall it hear when i have more time.
