* Shaykh Jihad Hashim Brown bio:

Shaykh Jihad was born in Santa Ana, California. He graduated from
Rutgers University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology
and a Minor in Middle East Studies. Upon graduation, he went to
Damascus,
Syria to
pursue studies in Islamic Juristic Methodology, Theology and Logic with
renowned
scholars including Sh. Muhammad Adib Kallas, Sh. Muhammad Ali
al-Shuqayr,
Dr. Said Ramadan al-Buti and Sh. Usama Rifai.

Subsequently, he continued studies of Islamic Juristic Methodology
from the Compendium of Compendiums of al-Taj al-Subki in the antique
madrasahs of the Southern Atlas Mountains in Morocco.

Shaykh Jehad has lectured and taught at various deen intensive courses
in
the UK, USA, Canada
Yemen and Sri Lanka.

Shaykjh Jihad currently resides in Abu Dhabi - UAE and works as a
research
associate with a prominent research center while performing consultation
for
various Islamic projects in the region.</tt>

with a name like that he could get arrested under the terrorism act in uk 2000, as well as being a high flying islamic activist and learned man it seems.. a power to influence for sure.

Yes bro, he is a revert - I've only attended one of his full day lessons - it was on Aqeedah and was excellent.
