O Muslims in Britain, wake up and stand up for yourselves.
How many more brothers and their families who are victims of this War of Terror will you watch until your own doors are kicked down and your men snatched away?
How long will you let demonstration pass after demonstration, with non-Muslims chanting for Muslim causes whilst you enjoy your days with your families, at work or studying for your degrees?
Today you are silent about the plight of your fellow brothers, tomorrow you may be in need of other to break their own silence and protest for you.
The Stop The War demo on 19th March had over 10,000 marchers; MOST were not muslim. The Muslims were enjoying their sunny saturday whilst others marched for their cause.
On 2nd March 2005 Babar Ahmad's Extradition Hearing commenced. About 200 protesters gathered outside the courtroom. He is the first case to be tried under the new Extradition Act 2003. He CANNOT challenge any of the allegations in a British Court. He can only fight on Human Rights grounds. Britain is sending its citizens to America, a land that tortures muslims and uses evidence taken under torture in their trials. IS THIS JUSTICE?
On 18th April 2005 the U.S government are bringing a rebuttal to insist upon his extradition. CAN WE SIT AT HOME or WORK WHILST THIS IS HAPPENING ON OUR DOORSTEP?
Take a day off work or university to stand up for justice and attend the demonstration
If everyone who attended the 2nd March demo brings 4 friends, this time there can be over 1000 protesters.
If you can't attend, tell others and encourage them to go.
If you are at a university/college, meet up and come as a group.
Bow Street Magistrate's court is in Covent Garden, a prime location with lots of shops and places to eat. There is even a halal noodle bar (no pork, no alcohol) called Chopstix at a 10 minute walk near Leicester Square Station
Volunteers are needed to help.
