Allah swt decrees when, who and where we will get married, no need to fret...just 2 rak'ah nafl every night followed by sincere dua
Some individuals do worry considerably about not getting decent marriage proposals. However, why worry? Good things come to those who wait.
Trust in Allah (swt) for He knows best.

On a mre serious note, the constant worrying of parents to fulfil their "obligation" by marrying of their off-spring is probably what triggers the same reaction in the children.
After all, who's going to want to marry you when ur past ur "sell by" / "best before" date ...:rolleyes:

all of my friends are married by now,but if I am not what can I do if the proper person dont come around. Plus I am not to keen about marrying either,and my parents are like no a girl has to get married etc. Should be just get married coz our parents want us to.

LOL..to me it seems that the adults and older generations are the ones who are having doubts about marriage and us the youth and youngins are the ones keen to get married or more for mattiage then the elder ones of this generation.. odd innit..lol

Being married is a wonderful feeling.... so I have observed.
Yeah sure.... you do lose out on the "freedom" in a sense, but you gain much more in return. Given a choice of being married to a wonderful muslim man and "freedom"... I know what I would pick.
