i was doing some research about muslim woman and the west, and i stumbled across this forum.

my question is, well in the 1920's Egyptian women were among the first in the region to abandon the veil. Now their daughters and grand-daughters are putting it on again.
Does nyone know why this is so?
if u can help that would be great..
i need to put the best speech together coz im the only muslim girl in my class! and i feel like its my duty to tell them about islam.
