I have always wondered why the Hadith & Sunnah's were EQUAL to the Quran in reverence.
Could we speak of this aspect of Islam ?
I have provided the two example references above from which I drew conclusions from.

" Hadith Qudsi are the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) as revealed to him by the Almighty Allah. Hadith Qudsi (or Sacred Hadith) are so named because, unlike the majority of Hadith which are Prophetic Hadith, their authority (Sanad) is traced back not to the Prophet but to the Almighty. "

THEREFORE, everything is preserved in Islam.

Interesting links you have presented however both presenters have given the readers evidences from weak and fabricated sources(or have used it incorrectly the authentic sources without understanding concerning the HADITH QUDSI sources) especially the Answering-Islam website.

With the above presentation concerning HADITH QUDSI then Dr.Rashid Khalifah is proven to be an IGNORANT individual on his website or his organization's website.

If we take the view of Rashad Khalifa, Ph.D. against Sunnah we shall find some problem in our life. For example: the Quran does not say much regarding how to pray or fast etc. Without the Prophet’s (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) tradition we can not go forward. According to him, the Prophet followed the Koran only. There is no question against it. But it is also true that the Prophet had to administer a huge community in a very complex fashion. So the Prophet in fact implemented the Quran in the society through his understanding and consultation with his companions. So his tradition is an example of such implementation. Even if we take Sunnah to mean this way of implementation, we still are in need of Sunnah.

First and foremost you have not used the correct Islamic sources to discuss or learn about Qur'an, Sunnah and Hadith, both your links are absolutely un-Islamic, which I suspect you have chosen deliberately.

A religion is judged by its scripture and for by its followers or opponenets.

Islam has two legs in a layperson's term (1) Qur'an (2) Sunnah (that includes Hadith).

The conclusions you have drawn is weak being from the non-Islamic sources who cannot be relied upon. We read in Glorious Qur’aan 16:44
that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them,

We read in Qur'an 3:164
Indeed Allâh conferred a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم from among themselves, reciting unto them His Verses (the Qur’ân), and purifying them (from sins by their following him), and instructing them (in) the Book (the Qur’ân) and Al-Hikmah (the wisdom and the Sunnah of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم (i.e. his legal ways, statements, acts of worship)), while before that they had been in manifest error.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was sent to explain the meanings of the Glorious Qur’aan and to impart education to the people, then, he used a set of his saying and/or doing as the medium for his community. This very set of the words and deeds are known as the Hadeeth.

quran and hadith are not equal, hadith that contradict the revelation from the almighty are classified as weak hadith for this reason.

however hadith and sunnah are integral parts of practising islam in everyday life

there is a problem who said the quran, who understood the quran more than any one. it was the prophet himself he showed us hot to pray because allah told him and he uderstood more than any one. remember the quran came down on the prophet and the hadith are just explaining what allah told he's prophet.

Please don't rely on material found at MSA site or some other sites. They have not addressed many important issues and they have many scriverner's errors. Their Ahadeeth does not provide the complete chain of narrators also. Using that site always leave Muslims open to attacks or questions from anti-Islaam forces, which some Muslims have no answers due to their ignorance. For a debate, never accept anything unIslaamic (source). Learn more about Hadeeth @

BTW, the above website has also done some damage repair by presenting facts, caused by erroneous English translation of Ahadeeth @ MSA website; such as:
