DEMONSTRATION AT BOW STREET MAGISTRATES COURT
Take a day off work for someone's freedom and attend this protest
against abuse of basic human dignity.
Date: Wednesday 2nd March 2005
Time: 8.00 am - 12.00 noon
Venue: Bow Street Magistrates Court, Bow Street, Covent Garden,
London, WC2E 7AS
This demonstration will be in protest against the extradition
request of Babar Ahmad by the US Government. His defence hearing
will be on this date. The Ahmad family are requesting all sincere
people to attend and show their support.
There will be cake stalls and balloons for children plus Islamic
songs. Enjoy a family day out at Bow Street Magistrates Court
supporting the right of a British-born Muslim to a fair trial in
the UK. Remember this is a test case under the new Extradition
Treaty (2003). If he is extradited then many other Muslims will
follow him. They will be exposed to torture and brutality by the
U.S. without even the slightest chance of justice and a fair
trial in a country that has destroyed and abused the rights of
Muslims in the U.S. and across the world.
It may mean that you will have to take a day off from work but
this is a small price to pay for saving Muslims from going
through horrific experiences as witnessed in Abu Ghraib and
Guantanamo Bay. Please invite others to come along as well.
