I was the one in the middle of sending a reply..that was waste of text :(
It was probably deleted because this practise has nothing to do with Islam.
Therefore end of discussion, raise it with your friend who sent it to you.

they hate you and me :(My good man, i really don't think they hate you and me, first of Islam is a religion of love & peace so i think the reason is far from that...however i do think, we should at least find out the reason for the deletion be for suggest anything.

Since I saw the thread, I can say it was inappropriate for discussion, not sure about rules and regulations. I am sure whoever deleted it must have approached the rules and regulations responsibly.

...maybe you can check the rules and regulations?got this mail from a female colleague in my office, a file showing some guy havin his repro organ mutilated...obvious i think it was about infidelity but i thought it was a cruel punishment to be inflicted on a person and that if the person repented how would he be able to reproduce again.
Pls, Pls, Pls ...before you carry on P*, it was a question i asked not an attack on Islam...i wanted to post the file to ask if it was true, cos my colleague a female muslim said it was true.

Since I saw the thread, I can say it was inappropriate for discussion, not sure about rules and regulations. I am sure whoever deleted it must have approached the rules and regulations responsibly. i agree that in a way that it was kinda inappropriate, but is it customary to have someones repro's mutilated? but it was a question i asked a fellow muslim in my office told me it was and i wanted to confirm...at least a reason should have been given before it was deleted if what i wrote was wrong as i believe is the norm on the forum.

I Understand. But there is no need to extend this thread or to talk about the issue for which it was deleted. It was the decision of the moderator, and we should respect that decision, since you now have come to realisation that it was inappropriate, lets close here.

Craig, I just read the thread you posted.. I think you can probably understand why it would have been inappropriate and against the rules to post the clip itself.
Perhaps the mod who moved it will explain it to you also..
But we do have threads on punishments in Shariah for adultery and the like.. try running a search, because there have been some informative discussion on the issue in here in the past.. maybe you could bump up one of them or have a read.

The hudud for illicit sex is stoning if you are married, and 100 stripes + exile if single, man or woman. If you are a slave, it's 50 stripes.
Though I think the punishment is appropriate for rapists, it isn't shariah. The clip (which I have seen) is from Iran.
