Lucknow: In a formal meeting of Bazme Khawateen, a women organisation, on February 2, Begum Shehnaz, president of the organisation demanded the government to provide due representation to Muslims in all the government institutions as per their population. She said women could play a positive role in the society since they are the inseparable part of it. She said some communal forces, for their personal ends, wanted to divide the Muslim community on factional lines. She appealed to women folk to show their awakening by exhibiting unity.
