Subhan Allah .. I pondered this day
No one seems happy .. in one or another way
The sick are hopeless and the healthy feel down
The student can't wait for the cap and gown
and the illiterate would wish for a moment at school
Will you define to me 'satisfaction'? Is there any rule?
The needy can't see any light to the dark
and the wealthy never enjoyed a quiet walk at the park
The unmarried are sad .. when will the day come?
but the married are tired .. the children are troublesome
The jobless just wish they could grab a chance
but the employed keep whining .. no time for 'France'
On and on .. we keep complaining each day
On and on .. 'I have problems' we say
'Alhamdulillah's on our tongues .. but yet bitter
Never said it from the heart .. always wanted 'any better'
We never submitted .. we never let go
We wanted to steer the boat .. on our own we chose to row
Leave it to Al Hakeem .. His choice is fair
The pages will be flipped .. the pages you'll tear
Yes, it's hard to walk on with a troubled heart
but smile and pray .. all over do start
