Deleting posts

Why can't I find the option to delete my post anymore ? Sometimes my posts were posted twice so I wanted to delete one of those or sometimes I wanted to delete a post right after writing it realizing it was the wrong thread or wrong comment whatsoever.

Is the delete option intentionally removed ?

Seriously though, I do think users should still have that half hour (wa sit half an hour before?) to edit or delete because not being able to correct mistakes is THE most annoying thing. I send people double PM's just to correct a typo :embar:

I edited my post above at 15 minutes.

I believe sajid recently reset the time that titles can be edited, but I don't remember how long he set it for.

Well reason thre is a timelimit is that sometinme people may want to cheat infact ive seen this happen before

U write something

the other person replies and say for example u get namecalled cos u said something they dont agree with

u then go and delete the post

u are in denial of writing that post

the other person is made to look stupid

thats how it goes...ive seen it happen before

Leave 15 or 30 minute edit time for posts maybe.

If the option to edit posts or titles that we have had is abused by some, restrict their options not ours.

Why should we be punished for the acts of another?

I thought the time for editing posts was 15 minutes...but if it is more then leave it and let us know.

The time for editing titles should be maybe 2-3 minutes.

Again let the board know their time limits.

I don't think anyone was namecalling-- CW was just commenting on the similarity in posting of yourself and a user called Amal. It's an easy mistake to make, I assumed you were her too....
