It's a national language, but honestly you won't hear it spoken quite like we did it, but all words do make up our "slang" vocabulary and most of us use most of the words at some time or even regularly. Here in the north, we are infamous for adding "a" to the end of our words, so we would say things like, "you do it this way a?" In the west, they don't have the same accent as Sydney Siders and Melbournians.. that famous Home and Away accent that is easily recognizably Aussie
