im am unwell at the moment, (violins out please) and this might be a really stupid and obvious question,so forgive me everyone,


can i have medicine which contain alcohol in it e.g..............NIGHT NURSE!

I think so, it isnt intoxicating, besides Ive heard that, you are allowed to if your health is threatened or you simply dont have any other choice.

Well, like the fatwa said, its allowed if you are in need.

And I dont think that trace minute elements can be regarded as alcohol and intoxicants.

Just aswell, do you refrain from milk, cheese, lemons, oranges and the like because they also contain trace amounts of alcohol in it ?
