I am with Akhi as-Salafee on this one. Although I sympathize with their civil disobedience against the Egyptian Government and abhor the treatment they received after the crackdown initiated by Gamal Abdul-Nasser (and later onward, Anwar Saddat and Hosni Mubarak), the truth is they developed radical ideas i.e. having the ability to pronounce a Muslim a Kafir, anyone affiliated with a non-Muslim government is an Enemy Combatant. Even Sheikh ul-Mujahideen, Abdullah Azzam, was adamantly opposed to most of their ideas and had forewarned Osama not to hang around with them. Although it isn't good to speak about a dead Muslim like that, the same logic would apply in not saying any ill of Gamal Abdul-Nasser.;)

I dont even want to argue with you, a year or so ago my whole dawah was to expose people with rigid Wahabee views like yours. Those who knew me from Ummah chat woudl testify to this. But Over time i learnt most of people following this line are people with little thinking capacity who easily get lulled into or brainwashed by poeple like Rabi Madkhalee and others who serve as the Sihrul Bayan to the Fir'ons of today like Fahd. This is why in discussions they just paste stuff from websites.

For your information Imam Azzam Abu Hanifah an-nu'man bin Thabit Rha (may Allah raise him amongst the prophets) used to send his students in groups to account the ruler of his time. He would say this is Amr bil maroug wa nahi anuil Munkar. He also used to say 'if you see a scholar at the gates of the rule..accus him of his deen', he refused to be Qadhi in the court of the corupt Khaleefah, let alone be on their payroll and do sajood to Firoqn like Jahil puppets in saudi dubbed Ulema. Imam Azzzam died in the prison. Whereas most wahabbee $cholars died in the arms of their Kings- who they worshipped.

May Allah rid us of this Wahabbi cult and give intelligence to the Muslim youth to ignore this cult so it fades away in the oblivion like all the other deviant cults.
