"By the men whom neither the Trade, nor sale can divert from the
Remembrance of Allah, nor from regular Prayer, nor from paying Zakah
(alms due). Their only Fear is for the Day when Hearts and eyes will
be turned about."

[Al-Quran- Sura Al-Nur 24: 37]

Tafseer:

This verse of Quran speaks highly of those who go to the mosques
often, and glorify their God, Allah, morning and
evening. "Remembrance of Allah" is more than the Paryer itself: it
includes silent contemplation and active service to Allah and His
creation. The regular Prayers and Charity are the social and
spiritual acts performed through the organized community.
In the view of Islam, the true believers are not those who remain in
the mosques only, nor the mystics who recluse in their places of
retreat. The true Believers are people of action, whose
distinguishing characteristic is that the affairs of the busy world
do not make them forget their obligations to their Creator.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) himself, by his words and deeds,
delineated the rules of trade, encouraging, indeed, urging the
Muslims to engage in it with honestly and moderately. The Prophet
(pbuh) once said, "An honest and trust-worthy merchant will be with
the martyrs on the Day of Resurrection." (collected by Ibn Majah
and Al-Hakim)

We observe that the motivating force behind much business activity
is greed and profit-making by any means; "Money makes Money" is a
motive of most of the businesses today. That's why any trader or
business-person, who remains within the bounds of honesty and fair-
dealing in such an atmosphere, is a fighter against his or her
desires, gaining the status of a warrior in the cause of Allah,
since fighting in Allah's cause is not limited to the battlefield
but extends to the economic front as well .
