View Full Version : A short story, ... possibly there's a moral to it ?

Shortly after my wife and I had gotten married, her youngest daughter wanted a puppy.
My sister just happen to have had a litter of puppies that she bred for sale.
We took home this wonderful bundle of energy, puffy as a snowball.
His name became KeeLee.
Keelee grew up to be nothing but trouble, chewing everything in sight, doing his business in the house, right in front of guests!
Well, one day I had enough of KeeLee and placed him in the backseat of my car.
I drove to the dog pound, only to find the lady locking up the gate for the night.
She told me to come back tomorrow.
I said, to Hell with that and threw the dog over the fence, got in my car and drove home.
I never heard the end of that story ever since !

Well, I just received an e-mail from my wife, and the contents of what she wrote,
made me understand how poor KeeLee felt as he was thrown over the fence that day.

Is that what some call karma ?
