Editing/Thread Subscription difficulties

Assalam u Alaikum!

I have encountered two problems:

1) If I log on, saty online for some time, close the brower window and then after some time come back - I am still logged on but I cannot edit any of my posts.

2) In the options...we can subscribe to threads so that emails can be received informing the user of a new message in the thread. How do I "subscribe" to a thread?

I'd be very grateful if these two could be solved.

1) i believe that you have only 30 minutes to edit a post...after 30 minutes the "edit post" button disappear

2) there is 3 ways to subscribe to a thread

a) in the thread window click "Thread Tools" and from the menu click "subscribe to this thread"...it will take you to a new page where you will choose which type of Subscription you want "email or not)

b) as you are typing a post in the thread you want to subscribe too scroll down to find "Notification Type:" and choose your Subscription type

c) go your forum control panel and choose edit options (http://www.ummah.com/forum/profile.php?do=editoptions) and scroll down to where it say "Default Thread Subscription Mode" and choose notification type....this method automitacally subscribe you to any thread you post or vote in
