hey yall ive been doing a servey on the best forums. Its based on how many posts people make per person on average. I am happy to say that not only did ummahcome in the top ten but they also managed 2nd place Im anxious to see how long this lasts. I would also like to give credit to the three brand new forums that also did well www.narrow-way.net (http://www.narrow-way.net/) , www.sunniforum.com (http://www.sunniforum.com/) (12th) and biblebash.com. Also I am no where near completing my servey so if anyone knows any other foum i can add to this list please tell me I will be updating this list in a few weeks well once again congradulations (I am posting this in all the top tenfoums please tell me asap if you dont wish any forum not to view it)

Id have to say that I was mpressed by the new forum narrow way.net placed at 7 impressed me its a new forum another that impressed me was sunniforums which came up 12th they are also new. Biblebash did mighty good though but Im afraid christian forums.com took the cake

a golliwog is a black ragdoll. It is offensive i believe because the term "wog" is a derogartory term for a black man/woman. I think that's the problem with it right? It's funny but i used to collect the robertsons jam golliwog brooches. i have like twenty of them... obvioulsy as a child you don't know these things.

i do not see racial features on the golliwog pictured in the link. Also the exageration of the racial features depends on how it is done and by whom... long story.. blah blah...

but yeah i didn;t see the show, i wish i had actually. i kinda feel bad for him because he was apparently held in such a high regard in terms of progressing black players in football. NOt that that excuses his behaviour, what he said was wrong! but theres' a part of me that feels a but sorry for him...

i'll tell u why ummah came 2nd, its cuz uve got threads like Word Association! (http://ummah.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27555) with 7,151 replies, with 15 people on more than 100 replies. Now that we got another word association thread im sure Ummah will make no1 next year

hey i am not going ot even suggest that a golliwog is a positive or nuetral thing in regards to racism. All i am saying is that if you put a ragdoll and a golliwog in front of a child who has no preconceptions about race and socio political contaxt the two will both just be dolls. I completely agree that golliwogs have a very racist history. However i have never looked at a golliwog and thought "dagnam thats an ugly thang!" hence as a child i collected the robertson jam golliwog brooches. I read enid blyton in which she had golliwog characters and probably wouldn't have minded having a real life golliwog myself. All this whilst getting picked in at school for the darker than usual colour of my skin. Ironic. But i don't think my innocence could be construed as racism. On a fully grown human it may well be, but even in my fully grown human state i must admit i have a soft spot for golliwogs. If they were just ragdolls with a different colour skin there may be less issues surrounding them.....

Look at the spelling also oliwog as in the racial doll is usually spelt "golliwogg" to l's and two g's. I live in australia In australia a goliwog is a buiscuit company or a cookie :) Also goliwog is a character in a make believe story that i made up (ill post it below) Its fairly long so dont feal compelled to read it.


Back in the deep ,deep forests of Africa there lived a 10 year old boy by the name of Goliwog. Goliwog Was the average type of kid he loved playing with his other friends and eating cheese. However Goliwog had one bad habbit he used to always stay up late past his bedtime….

One night at 11 o’clock Goliwog decided he was to awake to sleep so he went out side to play, He didn’t want to get in trouble for being up so late so he decided to play away from the house. Goliwog was having so much fun running around in circles but after an hour or so Goliwog realised that he had ran so far away from home that he had become lost. He soon became so frightened that he ran in a straight line and fell off a cliff! Poor Goliwog…..

Goliwog was so sad his legs had gotten trapped between a wedge in a tree and he was stuck there on a cliff hanging upside down, If only he had of gone to bed on time. However after a while Goliwog got to enjoy life on the tree. It was so peaceful no one to tell you to go to bed. The birds fed him be the way, they were so nice. Sometimes they even brought him cheese. Goliwog was beginning to love his life until…..

One night at 11:45 a little girl named polliwog stayed up past her bed time. She too stayed away from her house and accidently came across goliwog. Poliwog not knowing what goliwog really wanted pulled him out of the ledge and saved him. By now because goliwog had been hanging upside down for so long his arms and legs had become deformed his hair was long he was tall and lanky!

But even worse then that Goliwog became so mad at polliwog that he ate her alive! Goliwog went mad he was furious! And from that day on Goliwog went around eating little children that stayed up past there bed time, especial children that ate cheese.

Parents soon became so worried that they devised a plan to stop the evil goliwog man. They baked Minnie cookies of the goliwog man and told there children to stay away from a deformed freak that look like this. The only problem was the Kids kept eating the cookies They ate them so much that they were soon in the markets and shops all over the world…

Goliwog later on vomited polliwog back up he then decided that she was so beautiful that he married her. And they had lots of little goliwogs who also had there share of children that stayed up past there bed time

And so little children whenever you eat a goliwog cookie remember to always go to bed on time and whatever you do don’t eat cheese.

Now as for the stats i simply divided the total amount of posts by the total amount of users and got an average of posts per person...

i realise it may not be offensive in australia, but in the UK it is considered very offensive by many black peeps becasue the term "wog" is used as a racist insult.

hey ps I see were you are coming from But i dont see anything racial about goliwog (this has been debated over the years) Wog all by itself can be racial but mostly it means a foregner or some one that isnt what you are. e,g to me anyone who isnt australian is a wog (which is odd because 1 3rd of australians have migrated from over sees in the past 40 years so no-ones really different but yeah..) goliwog was first a mythical creature that had nothing to do with wog until jim crow changed things a polluted the name goliwog.

To better understand were I am coming from it might help if you read the poem i wrote in the poetry section called black faced lie.
