very strange...about 30 minutes ago i started a thread on jihadi nasheeds....i wanted to listen to as much as possible of Jihadi nasheeds and started to search online for some....and i had this idea about "Durty Kuffars" song and wondered if there is anymore Islamic hip hop just TWO or THREE seconds before i click "New Posts" to find this thread title in front of me!!!
btw sister zawjaturaafi...maybe he is a convert and can't remove the tattoos he had before i Islam.
the man who desinged the "Eid Mubarak" stamp in the USA is an American revert and he have a tatoo on his hand..obviously it was drawn before he converted.....btw..he is a very kind guy and a great artist

Yes, the Brother is a convert. Alhamdulillah. I know that ones initial reaction may very well be "these are muslims???" but we have to remember that Islam is for all people.
There is a site that lists Muslim music artists check it out www.muslimac.com

believe me i am well knowing that, I reverted to Islam... i guess my reason for asking was cause of the appearance of the cover, as well because i know the content of other muslim rappers that have covers similar to this, and well lets just say they brought alot of the dunya into it. I have a 15 year old son (well almost) and I was asking cause, I wanted to be sure what they are on before i brought it into my home. I listened to it. It is something for maybe the late teen early twenties listening group more or less. I wasnt trying to be insulting and i apologize if i sounded that way.

no prob, i did not take it personally.
This brother is a close friend. The content of the cd is for a mature listener. It deals with real life issues, and political awarness. He does make a point to always use good launguage, no swear words. It might depend on what you want your son exposed to, and his maturity level.
