Why has mine IP adress been banned?

Salaam,
I came to this site this morning,and couldnt check in since it gave me an error like the admin has banned your ip adress. I came now via some site which is hiding my ip now. But what did I do to get my IP banned?Seriously do moderators of this place ban now at free will,whomsoever they wish,with no real reasons at all?

i had to Permanent Ban a Particular User

using the same ISP as you i actually banned the entire ISP

i did nto realise u were using the same ISP as that

but ive changed that and done an Singular IP ban
