USB drive/the latest floppy disc thingymijigy

what is that thing that is like the floppy disk made into a disc a usb key/drive or something- apparently my uni- is no longer doing computors with floppy disk drives- its so last year apparently-would it be good to get and does anyone know how much they cost in shops cause i dont have a credit card to get it on the internet

i usually get them off ebay... checkout the sellers method of payment... some of them accept postal orders, cheques etc

USB pen...depends how much storage you want and if you want other accesories with it (mp3 player etc)

The ones I have seen were ranging from £30- £500.

go 2 ur local dixions or pcworld (or local independant traders) if u dont want buy online. however u can compare prices online so the shop doesnt over-charge u :p

Pen Drive..or you could purchase a MP3 player. it does the same thing.

USB drives are simply amazing!

i have a 512 MB Pen which is more or less the equivalent of CD ROM content

you can basically store ANYTHING on there its just plug it in save it on the pen unplug it and open up on another PC

bit pricey though..

i think this is the best invention since the car :P lol (messing)
