hmm is there one that actual works? i thought they where all packed full of spyware, adware, and all sorts of rubbish.

i use mozilla... it comes with its own download manager... not sure if it actually accelerates the actual download process

As i understood it, programs that claim to accelerate your downloads or Internet speed, are all cons. They don't work. They are just packed with spy ware and all sorts of nasty stuff. Best to avoid like the plague.
