When I close my eyes I dream of a beautiful place;
a place that always seems to bring a smile to my face.
I dream of this place day and night;
and I wish peace for this place on a star so bright.
This place that I dream of is kept in many peoples hearts, also in mine;
this place I am referring to, is Palestine.
Palestine, you are always in my dreams, in my thoughts, in my heart;
if only you could live in peace, without people trying to break you apart.
We care for you more than you’ll ever know;
and we will fight till the end to save you, we will never let you go.
We can’t hide our fear of losing you we can’t hide our pain;
without you there to give us conceit, we cannot sustain.
Every night we pray for your freedom of all this cruelty,
we know that one day hope will be coming;
and once and for all it will stop all your suffering.
No matter how hard people try to destroy you,
we will always be there ready to fight,
that’s just what they have to accept;
for one day they will see the pain they did to you and your people,
one day they’ll have regret.
The further they get us angry, the further we are
determined to fight for you;
no matter what they say about us, no matter what they do.
The many people that suffered, the many people that died;
the many tears and anger that we tried to hide.
The blood that’s shed on our lands and on our hands;
the wishes we made and all of our demands.
Still not a soul cared for us, still no hope for our
freedom, still there is crying and tears; anger and fears.
Will I be able to sleep at night without shedding a tear for you Palestine?
Will there be a day when I can say, you're finally ours, you're finally mine?
Will there be justice?
Will our children be able to live long lives?
Will there still be moms, dads, husbands and wives?
In our hearts Palestine, is where you will always stay,
I shall always hold you tight;
no matter where we are we will think of you every day,
we will never give you up without a fight!
