View Full Version : A Prayer for My Friends
The world is a difficult and confusing place. Racism, inequality, economic manipulation, tyrany, and pure evil exists and even thrives at different places and at different times. Religious intolerence and intra-religion sectarianism is Satan's greatest achievement, and is an in-excusable human insult to God. Men from all sides are using unprecedented weapons of war to kill women and children of "the enemy", leaving scars that may never heal.
Despite these horrors on earth, though, my heart at times swells with love and pride and brotherhood and a celebration of the short time God has given us here on earth to ponder the mysteries of his creation. Simply by sitting behind my computer screen, and pressing small buttons on a plastic key board, I have been rewarded with the extraordinary gift of traveling across unfathomably vast gaps in culture, history and religion, and looking clearly into the hearts and souls of my brothers and my sisters, where ever they may be around this globe.
At times I have seen evil, ingorance, hate and great sickness in my fellow man. However, I have also seen and felt the overwhelming gentleness, faith and unquenchable thirst for peace, justice, tolerance and brotherhood that exists in the hearts of those that believe that the greatest praise we can give God, is to love Him and our fellow man, above ourselves. This belief transcends all religions and cultures, and I pray and have faith in my heart that at the end of time, we shall ALL be united and I will have the great pleasure and honor of standing hand in hand with these brothers and sisters of mine, in the awesome and loving embrace of God.
Amen
I pray to Allah to give all human peace and justice
I pray to Allah to replace the hate and racism by love and security.
I am disappointed from the terrible situation. The wars and violence will cover all this planet ...............
Allah only knows what the fate of the humanity with all this hate and wars…… humanity suffer a lot from starvation , pollution and violence , unfortunately we talking now about nuclear wars as fact!
The god gave us this planet to protect, but what we did?
Pollution, wars, hate, violence, selfish………… even animals of forests rejected to do what human doing now. Everyone believes that he is good and others are evil. This kind of the selfish will kill all humanity.

Asalamunalaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Peace and God's Blessings and Mercy to all
Thank you AmGod for your thoughtful words. I echo your prayer.
Most of us here would echo a prayer for peace, but we must understand that the source of peace begins within us. True peace is based on the foundations of justice, benevolence, equality and most importantly love. These are all things cultivated within ourselves.
I pray that all those people out there who have a genuine desire for world peace work together to make this a reality so that we go past empty rhetoric and really work to eradicate the evil of this world.
I pray that we can go past the stage of merely tolerating one another to finding a Transcendental Unity which connects us all.
I pray most of all that we can sow the seed of Love, Beauty, kindness and humility in our children so that even if it doesn't happen in our lifetimes, we can still contribute in creating God's kingdom on earth, where people of all faiths and cultures will be able to live in the world of eternal peace which we so long for.
Ma'aslama
Peace to all

Children Live what they Learn
If a child lives with criticism, she learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight.
If a child lives with ridicule, she learns to be shy.
If a child lives with shame, he learns to feel guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance, she learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence.
If a child lives with praise, she learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.
If a child lives with security, she learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, she learns to find Love in the world.

I truly like your avatar Bintul Huda, for I loved
Yusuf Islam's music when he was known as Cat Stevens.
A very gifted writer he was and still is.:)

JUST FOR You….
Decide to be happy today, to live with what
is yours - your family, your business, your job. If you can't have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable,
responsive, caring, and understanding.
be your best, dress your best, talk softly, look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and don't criticize them for what they cannot do.
If someone does something stupid, forgive
and forget. After all, it's just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a
nice day!
Have a terrific day!!
