Shaykh Husain Abdul Sattar is currently a Pathology resident at the University of Chicago Hospital. Born and raised in Chicago, he holds a BS from the University of Chicago and a MD from the University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine. Additionally, for over a decade he has consistently pursued sacred knowledge from traditional scholars in the US, Syria, and Pakistan, including a two year stay in Islamabad where he completed a course study at Jamia Farida. He possesses several formal authorizations in the Islamic Sciences. Shaykh Husain is presently engaged in editing and publishing the translations of his teacher, Shaykh Ahmad Zulfiqar. In addition, he has completed his own written work in English on the Fundamentals in Arabic verbs, and is compiling a manual of Hanafi Fiqh.
